To ensure a reliable supply of electricity for producing
aluminium, DUBAL has a dedicated power plant on our Jebel Ali site.
Hot combustion gases from the gas turbines in the power plant are
utilized to produce steam, which in turn provides the energy to
produce sweet water via thermal desalination of seawater.
