ensures that each employee receives regular constructive feedback

Training & Development
At DUBAL, we take pride in providing extensive learning
opportunities for our employees, thereby increasing their
knowledge, expertise and professionalism. Our Training and
Development Department co-ordinates a broad range of technical and
competency development programmes as well as on-the-job training
courses.
The Department also coordinates our Development Pool Programme,
which grooms middle managers for senior management roles and
administers Summer Training
Programmes, a Graduate Training
Programme, an Open Learning Unit and a Scholarship
Programme that supports higher learning.
The DUBAL Training Centre is complemented by several satellite
training centres located throughout the plant. The Centre, which is
certified by the Institute of Leadership and Management ("ILM")
focuses on management skills training and the delivery of pre-employment course
("PEC") programmes to UAE nationals joining the company. These
pre-employment courses train UAE high school leavers to become
maintenance craftsmen and smelter, desalination plant and power
station operators.
Management Development
DUBAL offers structured management development programmes
accredited by the UK-based ILM for first line supervisors and
middle managers. We also offer our employees extensive executive
training opportunities at recognised international business schools
including INSEAD in France and IMD in Switzerland.
