certifications include:
- Certification of our entire smelter operation, desalination
plant, power plant and engineering to the ISO 9001:2008 Quality
Management Systems standard.
- Certification to the ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems
standard
- Certification of our casting operations to the stringent ISO/TS
16949 certification.
- Certification of our entire smelter operation to the OHSAS
18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems
standard.
- DUBAL's metal is recognised by the LME and benchmarked for
high-grade quality of 99.7 per cent aluminium.
DUBAL also holds ISO/IEC 27001:2005 Information Security
Management System and ISO/IEC 20000-1:2005 Information Services

Dubai Quality Awards
DUBAL has twice won the Dubai Quality Award, in 1996 and 2000
respectively, as Company of the Year in the Production and
Manufacturing category. Our company is also a founding member of
the Dubai Quality Group and has played a lead role in Dubai's drive
for quality.
DUBAL has also been instrumental in establishing the Dubai Quality
Group's Ideas.Arabia sub-group, which focuses on optimizing the
effectiveness of suggestion schemes and assists member companies to
conceive, launch, and revamp suggestion programmes. This sub-group
encourages members to share employee involvement practices and
provides valuable benchmarking and networking opportunities.
In addition, DUBAL won the prestigious Investors in People award
in 2002; as well as the Dubai Human Development Award ("DHDA") in
2003 and the DHDA Gold Award in 2006.
